We provide, a 24-hour City web presence for residents, businesses, and employees; promote digital access and literacy through our Community Technology program; manage the city's cable franchise; provide public open data through; and operate the Seattle Channel, the City’s award-winning government and community cable channel.

Provided leadership for information technology operations, public computing services, and digital content strategy in a major urban public library. Managed a 17-person IT department with responsibilities for a municipal area data network, systems and data center administration, enterprise applications development, and end-user support. Oversaw the management and integration of information access and discovery resources.

In an interim capacity (2012-2013), served as Director of Technical and Collection Services and provided leadership and oversight of library materials selection, acquisitions, cataloging, and technical processing.

Managed the IT operational and capital budgets, vendor relationships, and technology purchasing services. Advised SU leadership on IT strategy, governance, and planning.

Responsible for professional development and staff training programs.

Upgraded data center facility to support computational clusters. Virtualized server infrastructure using Microsoft Virtual Server. Provided data management and BI services (MS SQL Server and Oracle). Developed custom applications (PHP and ASP.NET). Served as Chair of University Computing Directors group for two years and on several university IT planning committees and working groups.
